Blue Valley Farm is situated in the beautiful Between the Hills valley of Loudoun County, with the Blue Ridge to the north and the Short Hill Mountains to the south. The farm was originally settled by Georg Abel, a Hessian deserter, in 1783. The Abel Family Cemetery remains on the property as a respected and honored testament to history.
Today, the Hamberger family operates the farm in the production of orchard grass, raising of livestock (Kiko goats), a small hospitality operation, and a hydro-aeroponic greenhouse. With the involvement of three generations, we celebrate family, faith, and the value of preserving rural heritage.
